Chery Tiggo rEV reaches 1,000 unit sales milestone

The Chery Tiggo rEV is proving to be a very popular option for customers in the Philippines that are looking for an electrified SUV with seven seats. In fact, it’s now the bestselling model of Chery Auto Philippines.
The midsize plug-in hybrid (PHEV) crossover has marked its 1,000-unit sales milestone, a little over a year since it made its first local appearance at the 19th Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) in April 2025, and a little less than a year since it was launched locally in September 2025.
This milestone for the Chery Tiggo rEV also coincides with the Chinese automaker marking a 69% growth in sales for the month of June 2026, compared to the same month in 2025, with 220 units sold. Its January to June 2026 sales also reflect a total of 981 units sold, equating to 58% growth, year-on-year.
The latest sales reports from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) also shows that Chery Auto Philippines ranks third in PHEV sales from January to May 2026 with 528 units sold, and 18th overall with 761 units sold. CAMPI has yet to release its sales report for June 2026.
“The milestone of over 1,000 Tiggo rEVs on Philippine roads means that more customers are discovering that the Tiggo rEV delivers the right balance of efficiency, performance, comfort, and advanced technology while providing real savings in everyday driving. We are grateful for the trust our customers continue to place in the Chery brand, and we remain committed to delivering mobility solutions that make every family journey smarter and more rewarding,” said Chery Auto Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt.
