Denza PH to showcase its current and future lineup at MIAS 2026

Denza Philippines has had a good start in our market, receiving a lot of good attention and feedback since it formally made its local debut in late February. That’s not surprising as we all know that it’s the luxury arm of BYD, which is one of, if not the fastest growing automotive brand in the country right now.
The Chinese luxury automaker is set to build further on its growing momentum as it showcases its current and future lineup at the upcoming 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

Set to appear at the Denza booth at the MIAS is the D9 plug-in hybrid luxury minivan, the brand’s only currently available model on sale locally, along with previews of the Z9 GT shooting brake, B5 midsize SUV, and B8 fullsize SUV.

Denza Philippines also isn’t keeping many secrets, confirming some details about the latter two SUVs, specifically their powertrains, which are both plug-in hybrids using BYD’s Super Dual Mode Off-Road (DMO) system.

The Denza B5, as you may already know, will be powered by dual electric motors and an LFP battery, linked to a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. In the B8, the motors and battery are linked to a larger 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Combined driving range for the former is at 975km, and 1,040km for the latter.

Other information about these two SUVs have not yet been announced, but a quick look at the Denza Philippines website already shows full specifications for both models.
The Denza B5 will be available in a single variant. It measures at 4,888mm of length, 1,970mm of width, and 1,920mm of height, putting it at about the same size as the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

With space for five occupants (including the driver), standard equipment on the Denza B5 will include matrix LED headlights, multi-color ambient lighting, leather seat upholstery, an in-car refrigerator, a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and an 800W Devialet 16-speaker sound system, among others.
Available exterior colors will be Glacier Blue, Juniper Green, Granite Gray, Eclipse Black, Alpine White, and Leopard Gold.

Meanwhile, the Denza B8 measures at 5,195mm long, 1,994mm wide, and 1,905mm tall. It will come in two variants—Dynamic and Premium—with seating capacity for seven occupants on the former, and seven occupants on the latter.

Standard equipment will be similar as on the B5 but with the addition of some notable items. This includes tri-zone climate control, a larger 17.3-inch infotainment screen with an 18-speaker Devialet sound system, power-adjustable second row seats with legrests, power-folding third row seats, and soft closing doors, among others.

“We’re incredibly excited to meet more people at this year’s Manila International Auto Show and let discerning customers discover for themselves a smarter, more refined, and truly premium way of moving. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the DENZA booth,” said BYD and Denza Philippines Country Head Adam Hu.
The 2026 Manila International Auto Show is happening at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City from April 9-12, 2026 (Thursday to Sunday). Will you be dropping by the Denza booth??
