GWM PH is launching the Haval H7 this coming June 15

As you may already know, GWM Philippines is preparing to launch the Haval H7 in our market. Already previewed at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last April,we now have an official launch date.

The electrified SUV is set to make its official launch this coming June 15, 2026. And as confirmed before, GWM Philippines is set to offer the Haval H7 in both hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants, the latter in two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) options.

The HEV 2WD variant will be the entry-level grade. While exact specifications have not yet been confirmed, available public information tells us that all variants will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. In the HEV 2WD, this is paired to an electric motor and 1.53kWh battery. Output is a respectable combined 248 horsepower and 540Nm of torque.

In the PHEV 2WD, output is boosted to 326 horsepower, still with a single electric motor, while torque remains the same at 540Nm. A larger 19.09kWh battery will allow for an all-electric range of up to 105km

Confirmed is that the PHEV 4WD variant will bring output up to 364 horsepower and 760Nm of torque. This is thanks to dual electric motors from GWM’s Hi4 powertrain. Expected to have the same battery size as the 2WD, electric range is expected to be slightly lower at up to 91km.

GWM Philippines has also confirmed some features such as a full-size spare tire, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, and DC charging compatibility. Also confirmed is a heads-up display (HUD). Full specifications and features, as well as pricing, will be announced closer to or at its launch.

The GWM Haval H7 embodies the next evolution of intelligent SUV mobility, ” said GWM Philippines Brand Head Dax Avenido. “With its advanced hybrid technologies, impressive performance credentials, and versatile feature set, we are confident it will resonate strongly with Filipino consumers seeking a vehicle that can adapt to every aspect of their lifestyle.”
