MIAS 2026 | Jetour Auto PH aims for the high end with the Gaia G700

It seems that the trend now with Chinese automakers are high-end, electrified SUVs. There’s the Denza B8, the GWM Tank 700 Hi4-Z, to name a few. And now, Jetour Auto Philippines is throwing its hat in the ring at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with the plug-in hybrid Gaia G700, which costs a princely Php 4,488,000.
The Gaia G700 also falls under a new Jetour sub-brand (GAIA), which means “Generation of All Terrain Intelligent Architecture”. This is essentially the best of what the brand can offer in terms of technology and powertrains.

The G700 features a large, imposing design with lots of plastic cladding, square LED light signatures front and back, large 20-inch wheels, large roof rails, and a swing-out rear door with a spare tire carrier, just like other off-road-oriented SUVs.

The luxurious three-row, six-seater interior has a lot of comforts that put it in line with the likes of the Nissan Patrol and the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, such as dual sunroofs, lots of ambient lighting surrounding the leather upholstery, and power adjustable first and second row captain’s seats.

Tech includes an 18-speaker Lexicon by Harman sound system, and an ultra-wide 35.4-inch digital instrument cluster (similar to BMW’s Panoramic iDrive) with a 15.6-inch infotainment that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems.

The highlight of the SUV is its new plug-in hybrid powertrain, which mates a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas engine, a two-speed DHT, and dual electric motors. The combined power output is a monstrous 904 horsepower and 1,135Nm.

Thanks to a 100L fuel tank and a 34.13kWh LFP battery that can be fast charged up to 170kW, it has an all-electric range figure of up to 100km and a combined maximum range figure of 984km (WLTP)

It has a ground clearance of 230mm, off-road angles of 35° for approach, 28° for departure, and a break-over angle of 45°, with the rated wading depth of as much as 900mm. This also comes with front and rear differential locks, plus an electronic center differential lock.
You can see the Jetour Gaia G700 at the Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center in Pasay City until April 12, 2026.
