More photos of the facelifted BMW 5-Series leaked

A new series of leaked photos of the facelifted BMW 5-Series have found their way online. This comes a few weeks after a first leak showing the entire vehicle. This leak however is a bit more detailed as it shows some options that can be fitted to the vehicle.

As mentioned in our article regarding the first leak, the updated 5-Series will get updates that will keep it in line with the brand’s current design language which can be seen on the current generation G20 3-Series. The signature kidney grille is updated with sharper outer edges and slats. They are also now connected to each other just like in the 3-Series. The LED headlights are now sleeker and slimmer just like in the 3-Series as well. The rear on the other hand also received enhancements, particularly on the taillights. The LED taillights are more modern and slightly darker just like in the 3-Series.

The first set of photos shows two variants for the facelifted 5-Series. One appears to be a standard variant while the other could be an M-Sport. The latter features a sportier-looking front bumper, larger wheels and a more pronounced rear diffuser. The one in white found above is more likely to be a base model as it wears a more simple set of five-spoke wheels.

The other photos show different possible wheel options, two different headlight clusters, options of chrome or black exterior parts (though this may depend on the variant), a 360-degree set of cameras, and the options for a regular-sized sunroof or a panoramic sunroof.

As for a reveal date, it shouldn’t be too long of a wait as BMW has already released a teaser image of the vehicle showing off its LED daytime running lights which match with those on the leaked images. If ever, we might see official photos of the facelifted BMW 5-Series in about two weeks time.
