Nissan set to electrify at 2023 Japan Mobility Show with EV concepts

This year’s edition of the Japan Mobility Show (JMS), formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show, is fast approaching, happening at the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan this coming October 25 to November 5, 2023.

Among the many automakers doing preparations for the land of the rising sun’s largest motor show is Nissan that has announced its plans to excite visitors with an array of concept cars symbolizing the future of electrified mobility in a newly designed interactive booth set-up.

The Japanese automaker will be showcasing at the JMS an array of new EV concepts which they will be unveiling digitally one-by-one prior to the motor show’s press day on October 25. They say that these concepts “aim to empower journeys and society and is designed to meet the shifting demands of the environment, society today and generations to come.”

Nissan’s booth at the JMS will feature an interactive setup for visitors including the presence of an e-4ORCE all-wheel-control driving simulator, and taking a selfie with the excitement of Formula-E-like acceleration.

In addition to the series of all-electric concept vehicles, the booth will also showcase displays of the Nissan Ariya, GT-R NISMO Special edition, Z NISMO, Skyline NISMO, and Formula E race car. Also, a number of 90th anniversary special edition production models of the Nissan Kicks, LEAF, Sakura, Serena, and Aura, featuring front grilles and door mirrors accented with copper, as well as special aluminum wheels and seat materials will be present on display. Not only that, visitors will be able to purchase exclusive Nissan and NISMO merchandise.
