2024 Suzuki Swift concept revealed, to be unveiled at JMS 2023

2 min read

The current generation Suzuki Swift has been around for quite some time now, having been first unveiled way back in 2016. That’s about to change though as the Japanese automaker will soon be unveiling its all-new generation.

Set to be among the models Suzuki will be showcasing at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show (JMS), the Japanese automaker has just revealed the concept version of the fourth generation Swift hatchback.

And while Suzuki says that this new Swift is still a concept, photos show that it is virtually production ready and what we see may actually be what we’ll be seeing in showrooms in the future. Nevertheless, the Swift Concept shows that it is an evolution of the current and outgoing generation.

While the overall body shape is rounder, the rest of the details look very similar to the outgoing version. For one thing, a crease runs around the vehicle from the hood, to the sides, and towards the rear. The front and rear fascias are also slightly more aggressive and feature smoked headlights and taillights. Its interior is also a lot more modern following the trend of floating-style touchscreens.

There are no details as to what we can expect under the hood but Suzuki says that it will be powered by a “high-efficiency engine that strikes a balance between driving performance and fuel efficiency.” The Japanese automaker also says that it will come with advanced driver assist systems such as Dual Sensor Brake Support II, Adaptive High Beam System, and a Driver Monitoring System.

We won’t have to wait too long for Suzuki to see the Swift Concept in the metal as the 2023 Japan Mobility Show is happening this coming October 25 to November 5, 2023.
