1 min read

Just recently, Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) introduces a special limited edition variant of its popular Kicks e-POWER small hybrid crossover. Well it finally made its first public appearance at the 2023 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.

Limited to just 200 units, the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport is based on the mid-spec Kicks e-POWER VE variant, and is fitted with a couple of exterior accessories to make it look sportier and more attractive to buyers.

Setting this apart from the Nissan Kicks e-POWER VE are silver front, rear, and side skirts; as well as a rear tailgate spoiler also in silver. In addition, it is painted in an exclusive Galaxy Black exterior color which cannot be had with any other Kicks variant.

Other equipment remain identical to the VE variant such as full LED exterior lighting, 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen infotainment system, 4-speaker audio system, fabric seats with blue stitching, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent emergency braking, and 7-inch digital driver’s display, among others.

Like all other Nissan Kicks e-POWER variants, the Kicks e-POWER Sport is still powered by a 1.2-liter HR12DE naturally-aspirated Inline 3-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an EM47 AC synchronous electric motor and 213 kWh lithium-ion battery. Combined, it produces 136 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. The engine is only used to charge the battery and electric motor.

Again, only 200 units of the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport will be made available. It goes for a suggested retail price of Php 1,429,000.
