CONFIRMED: Mitsubishi Xforce arriving in PH June 2024

1 min read

Already confirmed to be coming to the Philippines, and just a few weeks after it was first revealed in left-hand drive form, we now know that the Mitsubishi Xforce will be officially launching in the market this coming June 2024.

The Mitsubishi Xforce is a new subcompact crossover from the Japanese automaker, revealed during last year’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), and is built on the same platform that underpins the popular Xpander compact MPV.

Designed with the concept of Silky & Solid, it wears a new and evolved version of the brand’s signature Dynamic Shield front fascia. The overall look is sleek and muscular, following the trend for most crossovers these days. Its interior on the other hand follows the Horizontal Axis Concept.

Under the hood of the Mitsubishi Xforce is a 1.5-liter 4A91 Inline 4-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine that produces 104 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque, paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Sounds familiar? That’s because it’s the same engine that powers the Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross as well.

While the exact launch date in June is not yet available, this certainly is exciting for Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) as they have not had a model in the segment ever since local sales of the ASX was discontinued after the 2018 model year.
