PIMS 2026 | Mitsubishi Xforce gets a more affordable GLX variant

If you were looking forward to an electrified version of the Mitsubishi Xforce, then we’re sorry to disappoint you as that apparently isn’t one of the new vehicles that Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) is showcasing at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
Instead, the Japanese automaker has actually made its subcompact crossover offering a bit more accessible with a new 1.5 GLX CVT variant that will be joining the lineup in the coming months. This expands the lineup to three variants, including the now mid-grade 1.5 GLS CVT and top-spec 1.5 GT CVT.
So, what makes the Xforce GLX different from the others?

For starters, it rides on smaller 17-inch alloy wheels, and comes with a body-colored roof instead of black. Ground clearance is also lower at 219mm (-3mm). Inside, it gets fabric seats just like the GLS, but now gets an analog gauge cluster with a 4.2-inch display in the middle.

Other changes include a smaller eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system like what we see on the entry-level Destinator 1.5 GLX, a six-speaker audio system in place of the eight-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium system, and manual climate adjustment.

Mechanically, it retains the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder MIVEC gasoline engine (4A91), making 105 horsepower and 141Nm of torque, mated to a CVT. Despite having no electrification, Mitsubishi does say that this should be good for up to 18km/l of fuel efficiency.
The Mitsubishi Xforce 1.5 GLX CVT is priced at Php 1,119,000, but you can get it for just Php 1,049,000 until July 31, 2026. If you want, you can already check it out at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show until June 7, 2026 (Sunday), at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.
