PIMS 2026 | Chery’s Q is a familiar, yet all-new electric city car

The infamous Chery QQ has returned in a new form, as Chery Auto Philippines brings in the Chery Q, which is an all-electric small hatchback that’s made for the city.
It’s priced at Php 1,120,000, and the small hatchback measures 4,195mm long, 1,811mm wide, and 1,573mm tall, competing against the likes of the Geely EX2, BYD Seagull, GAC Aion UT, and Dongfeng Nammi.

It features Q-shaped LED lighting front and back, a generally bubbly design, and two choices of either 16-inch “Sharp Blade” alloy wheels or 17-inch “Tie Design” alloy wheels. It has a 70L front trunk and a 375L cargo area that can expand up to 1,450L with the seats folded down.

The interior features a roomy 2,700mm wheelbase, capable of seating five people inside. It has a large 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features a smart voice assistant, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster; soft, rounded design elements in the dashboard with ambient lighting, a 50W wireless charger, and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The Chery Q is powered by a single rear-mounted electric motor that produces 120 horsepower and 115Nm of torque, and can drive up to 405km (NEDC) on a single charge from a 41.28kWh LFP battery.
Using the GB/T charging standard, it supports DC fast charging at speeds of up to 85kW, filling the battery from 30-80% in 16.5 minutes, and AC charging up to 6.6kW. This also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) at speeds of up to 6.6kW.
Chery Auto Philippines will at least throw in a free portable charger, and vehicle warranty and battery warranty terms… Are you going to pick this over the other small EV competitors?
