Suzuki Philippines will show off the e Vitara at PIMS 2026

Suzuki Philippines is set to introduce the twin of the Toyota Urban Cruiser at the upcoming 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, as it has just teased the front of the Suzuki e Vitara on its Facebook page.
We know that this will be the automaker’s first fully electric subcompact crossover, which shares its Heartect-e platform with the Toyota Urban Cruiser, which is also being sold in the Philippines.
A few months ago, we also spotted some initial specifications on the Suzuki Philippines’ own website and the Department of Energy’s List of Recognized Electric Vehicles, so we already have a general idea of what we will most likely be getting.

Coming in a single GLX variant, it’s powered by a single front-mounted electric motor with 174 horsepower and 193Nm of torque, with a top speed of 150kph and a maximum range of up to 425km on a single charge from its 61kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which supports Type 2 AC charging and CCS2 DC fast charging.
This will also come with niceties such as a two-tone interior with leather and fabric upholstery, 18-inch wheels, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), with features like adaptive cruise control, front and rear automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, pedestrian and bicycle detection
It’s better now than never for the e-Vitara, but market reception and sales will depend on whether Suzuki Philippines will price this right, hopefully to be more competitive than its Toyota sibling, which is priced at Php 2,135,000.
