The all-new BMW iX3 might be coming to PH with up to 805km of range

One luxury automaker in the country that’s all-in on electrifying its lineup is BMW Philippines, offering a whole slew of plug-in hybrid and battery electric models from the entry-level all the way to the top-of-the-line, and it looks like the award-winning Neue Klasse BMW iX3 could be coming to the country a lot sooner than we think.

Thanks to available public information, we have an idea that the newest iteration of the iX3 will be coming in one variant, and that’s the iX3 50 xDrive. This is the first vehicle to receive the Neue Klasse treatment in its lineup, paving the way for the likes of the all-new 3-Series, the updated 7-Series, the all-new X5, and more to come.

Powered by the sixth-generation eDrive technology, it produces a healthy 469 horsepower and 645Nm of torque that goes to all four wheels.

It comes with a 113.40kWh (108.7kWh useable) battery that allows it to drive up to 805km (WLTP) on a single charge, which could make it one of the longest-range BEVs in our market today. It also has an 800V architecture, allowing for rapid charging at up to 400kW, adding up to 372km of range in 21 minutes.

This comes with the latest Neue Klasse design language that combines slippery, aerodynamic body panels and retro-futuristic design cues like the slim headlights and vertical illuminated kidney grille.

The cabin also uses the newest Panoramic iDrive setup, featuring an edge-to-edge information display under the windshield, an angular 17.9-inch central display, and an all-new interior layout with the usual suspects of luxurious materials and lots of space for the passengers.

While it’s still pretty much up in the air, are you excited for the latest Neue Klasse models to arrive in BMW Philippines’ lineup?
