The Kia EV3 could come to PH in two different variants

At the Philippine International Motor Show 2026 back in June, Kia Philippines confirmed that two new models would be arriving in the country soon—the PV5 electric van, and the EV3 subcompact electric crossover.

The latter is more interesting as it has bagged the prestigious 2025 World Car of the Year award and is set to be Kia Philippines’ most affordable electric model when it is introduced. Thanks to available public information, it seems like this electric crossover will come a bit sooner than expected, and it will come in two variants.

Available in both GL and GLS, the homologation documents confirm that it will come with a 58.30kWh lithium-ion battery, and it’s mated to a front-mounted single electric motor with 204 horsepower and 283Nm of torque, and a supposed maximum range of up to 436km on a single charge.

It can DC fast charge from 10 to 80% in around 30 minutes at speeds of up to 130kW, while AC charging from 10 to 100% takes around up to 5 hours and 20 minutes.

No other specifications have been confirmed, but you can see that it utilizes the Opposites United design language in a way that resembles a “baby EV9”, in that most of the angular body shapes and design elements have been shrunken down.

The futuristic interior has the latest design language too, with dual 12.3-inch screens, a dedicated climate control panel, a minimalist layout with a floating center console, and other options like a Harman Kardon sound system, a sunroof, and the Kia DriveWise suite of advanced driver assistance systems.
