The PV7 will be Kia’s next and larger all-electric van

While we await the arrival of the Kia PV5 in the Philippines, which seems like it’ll be very soon, there’s another new fully electric van coming to the Korean automaker’s lineup–the PV7–which was recently teased.

Initially revealed as the Kia Concept PV7 back in 2024 alongside the concept version of the PV5, Kia is set to unveil the production version of the PV7 at the upcoming IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany this coming September 14, 2026.

To sit above the PV5, the Kia PV7 will be the largest of Kia’s purpose-built vehicle (PBV) lineup with an expected length of almost 5,300mm based on the Concept PV7’s dimensions. For comparison, the PV5 is 4,890mm long in its longest form, and just 4,695mm long in its regular form.

As for its looks, teaser images from Kia show that the PV7 will stay true to its concept version, identical to the PV5, but with C-shaped lighting on the sides of its hood. At the back, it will also look a lot like the PV5 with vertical taillights, and it will ride on two-tone alloy wheels with a plus sign-like design. 

No details on its powertrain have been revealed yet, but other reports mention that the Kia PV7 could get an NMC battery with more than 70kWh of usable capacity. For comparison, the largest battery option for the smaller PV5 is a 71.20kWh lithium-ion battery that provides over 500km of range, with a single front-mounted motor that makes 163 horsepower and 250Nm of torque.
