The VinFast VF MPV 7 is confirmed to arrive in PH this May 2026

Last week, we reported that VinFast Philippines could be launching in our market the VF MPV 7, a fully electric seven-seater subcompact MPV.

Not long after, it’s already confirmed as the Vietnamese automaker has already teased the upcoming Philippine debut of the VF MPV 7, on its official social media pages, including a hint of its launch date which is set anytime this coming May 2026.

VinFast Philippines posted this teaser on their official social media pages.

The VinFast VF MPV 7, not to be confused with the VF 7, first went on sale in the brand’s home market of Vietnam earlier this year, using the fleet-oriented Limo Green as a base, but with added equipment. Once launched, it will compete directly with the likes of the country’s bestselling Mitsubishi Xpander and its Nissan Livina twin, the Toyota Avanza, and Suzuki Ertiga.

We already have an idea of its specifications and features, such as its electric powertrain that’s shared with the Limo Green, and makes 204 horsepower and 280Nm of torque, paired to a 60.13kWh LFP battery that allows it to drive for up to 450km on a single full charge. It also gets the addition of a Sport driving mode, on top of the standard Eco and Normal modes.

It also gets LED daytime running lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel that also gets audio and cruise controls, a column-mounted gear selector, faux leather seats, and automatic climate control, among others.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but given that the fleet-oriented VinFast Limo Green is priced at Php 1,399,000, the VinFast VF MPV 7 could be priced at around Php 1,500,000 to Php 1,600,000, if both models’ Vietnamese market pricing is a good reference.

With all these in mind, would you choose the VinFast VF MPV 7 over its ICE rivals?
