Toyota Gazoo Racing PH eSports GT Championship returns for 2026

Calling all sim racers! The Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippines eSports GT Championship is returning for 2026, officially announced by Toyota Motor Philippines and its Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines motorsports division.
One of the country’s largest sim racing competitions, the TGR Philippines eSports GT Championship is now accepting entries through online and offline qualifiers, with the latter held at select Toyota dealerships across the country.
Qualifiers, both online and offline will be held starting August 17, 2026 (Monday) until September 13, 2026 (Sunday), with the Top 40 fastest participants advancing to the Quarter-finals and Semi-finals.

The Top 20 from there will then compete in the National Finals which will be held on September 27, 2026 (Sunday). Finally, the Top 3 from the National Finals will compete overseas at the Asia Finals with other finalists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
As before, participation in the qualifiers will require a copy of Gran Turismo 7 and a valid PlayStation Network (PSN) ID. Interested participants for both online and offline qualifiers simply need to register through this link. For those who wish to do offline qualifiers, this will be held at the following select Toyota dealerships:

The Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines eSports GT Championship started in 2020, originally known as the GR Supra GT Cup Asia Philippines, eventually evolving into the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines GT Cup, and then to its current name. Since its inception, it has produced successful racers who have transitioned from sim racing to actual track racing such as Russel Reyes who currently races in the Tamaraw Class of the 2026 TGR Philippine Cup, and Luis Moreno who previously raced under the Novice Class of the 2025 TGR Philippine Cup season.
