2024 GAC M6 Pro launched in PH with Php 1.230M starting price

A few months after it was exclusively previewed to the local motoring media community and GAC Motor dealer partners, the refreshed GAC GN6 has officially arrived, now known as the M6 Pro.

Set to compete with the likes of the Toyota Innova and (Innova) Zenix, as well as other smaller compact MPVs, the M6 Pro gets a revised exterior and interior, more and improved equipment, and an updated engine, compared to the GN6 it replaces. In addition, it now gets two variants instead of one—1.5 GS DCT and 1.5 GL DCT.

On the outside, the M6 Pro gets an updated front fascia with a slightly revised headlight shape, and a larger and more aggressive front grille and bumper. It also gets new wheel designs while the rear remains identical to the pre-refresh version.

Its interior also remains largely similar, maintaining the same overall aesthetic, as well as its 2+2+3 seating layout with its 2nd row captain’s chairs. It does get a new dual screen setup, a redesigned center console with a new electronic gear selector, and the option of a panoramic sunroof.

Standard equipment on the GS variant include halogen headlights, LED taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, power-folding side mirrors, dual zone automatic climate control, fabric seats, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, and a 4-speaker audio system.

Going for the GL variant adds LED headlights and daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, auto folding and heated side mirror functions, panoramic sunroof, power adjustable driver’s seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-speaker audio system.

Exterior color options are Crystal White, Peacock Blue, and Elegant Black. All of these are matched to a two-tone Black and Red interior color scheme.

Under the hood, the 2024 GAC M6 Pro are now powered by an updated 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection Inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 177 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed (wet) dual-clutch transmission that replaces the GN6’s 6-speed automatic.

As for safety, the GS variant comes fully-equipped with GAC’s ADiGo advanced driver-assist system (ADAS) suite. This gives it adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, high beam assist, integrated cruise assist, traffic jam assist, and traffic sign recognition system.

Pricing for the 2024 GAC M6 Pro starts at Php 1,230,000 for the 1.5 GS DCT, and goes up to Php 1,598,000 for the 1.5 GL DCT. Buyers will be able to take advantage of a five year or 150,000 kilometer vehicle warranty, whichever comes first.
