Ford Performance rebrands itself as Ford Racing

For those unaware, your favorite performance cars from the Blue Oval were developed by its performance division, er, obviously called Ford Performance.
Not only do they have a heavy hand in making cars like the Ranger Raptor and the Mustang GTD, but they also are responsible for aiding the company’s motorsports efforts in the likes of endurance racing, rally racing, NASCAR, and even series like V8 Supercars down under.

We know the brand will be entering the likes of Formula 1 with a partnership with Red Bull Racing in 2026, so it would only make sense for the company to rebrand and consolidate both its road performance and racing operations under one roof and name, hence the birth of Ford Racing.

This won’t be an immediate rebrand, as you can expect to see the name make its debut in January 2026 at Dakar, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and at a bespoke season launch event. Afterwards, expect to see the name trickle down to the likes of Formula 1, V8 Supercars, the World Endurance Championship, and NASCAR.
