Meet this year’s Team Philippines for the TGR Asia eSports GT Championship

The Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Asia eSports GT Championship is set in stone, happening this Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Toyota Alive Space in Bangkok, Thailand.

Forming Team Philippines are Victor Ancheta, Enzo Ison, and Matthew Ang, who were the top three sim racers that bested over 250 participants at the TGR Philippines eSports GT Championship 2025 held from September to October 2025.

As the champion for this year’s season, 25-year-old Victor Ancheta, who hails from Baguio City, wowed with his sim racing skills despite being a newcomer. He placed third in the qualifiers and fifth in the quarterfinals and semifinals.

Returning from the previous season, and also the youngest member of Team Philippines, is 15-year-old Enzo Ison, who hails from the town of Lubao, Pampanga. He was the Junior Class Champion in 2022 and 2023, and the overall second placer in 2024. Ison also represented the country in last year’s Asia Finals. For this year’s season, he topped the local qualifiers and quarterfinals, was third in the semifinals, and came out second in the national finals.

Also returning is 23-year old Matthew Ang from Makati City, also a previous Asia Finals participant. He was the Promotional Class second placer in 2022 and overall third placer in 2023. This season, Ang placed second in the qualifiers, quarterfinals, and semifinals, and finished third in the national finals.
