Updated GAC Emzoom for 2026 is coming to PH on April 29

From GS3, to GS3 Emzoom, and now simply Emzoom, GAC Philippines is bringing in the latest version of its subcompact crossover to our market this April 29, 2026, to be unveiled in an online presentation on social media.
First launched in the Philippines back in 2023, the Emzoom was once the brand’s most popular offering, at a time when the vehicles of its size were gaining much attention from the market, and with electrification in the local market still in its infancy stages.
And before you get all excited on a hybrid Emzoom, no, there still isn’t one and it will still come powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 177 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
How about the changes?

These are limited to the mid-grade GB and top-spec R-Style variants. The former gets a redesigned front grille with mesh pattern for a more subdued look, while the latter retains its sporty grille with vertical elements. The two variants also get a larger 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Other specifics were not mentioned but GAC Philippines did say that select variants will also be getting ventilated seating, wireless charging, and advanced parking support systems, which we assume will be limited to the top-spec R-Style.
Anyway, we don’t have to wait too long to find out everything about the updated 2026 GAC Emzoom as full specifications and pricing will be announced at its launch which is just around the corner.
