The GWM Haval H7 starts at Php 1,298,888 for HEV, Php 1,548,888 for PHEV variants

After a preview at the Manila International Auto Show 2026 earlier this year with multiple teasers, GWM Philippines has finally announced the pricing and variants of its Haval H7 electrified SUV, which starts at a very affordable Php 1,298,888.

Available in three different variants, the H7 comes with either a hybrid (HEV) powertrain or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants with two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) options.

The Haval H7 HEV 2WD is priced at Php 1,298,888, while the mid-range Haval H7 PHEV 2WD goes for Php 1,548,888. Finally, the top-of-the-line variant, the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD, is priced at Php 1,698,888.

All are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, but have various forms of electrification. In the HEV 2WD, this is paired to an electric motor and 1.53kWh battery. Output is a respectable combined 248 horsepower and 540Nm of torque.

The PHEV 2WD now produces 326 horsepower, still with a single electric motor, while torque remains the same at 540Nm. The all-electric range of up to 105km on a single charge is possible thanks to the larger 19.09kWh battery.

Finally, the Hi4 PHEV 4WD variant produces 364 horsepower and 760Nm of torque thanks to dual electric motors, mated to the same 19.09kWh battery, but all electric range is slightly lower at up to 91km on a single charge.

It measures up at 4,800mm long, 1,950mm wide, and 1,843mm tall. The design of the H7 resembles the bigger Haval H9 sibling, just with more boxier elements all around, especially with the LED headlights, a more subdued “HAVAL” logo on the front grille, and boxier LED taillights complete with a tailgate-mounted spare tire.

It comes complete with leather interior upholstery with seat ventilation, a large 15.6-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and advanced driver assistance systems on the top-of-the-line Hi4 PHEV, at least.

Does this smaller, electrified offering from GWM Philippines entice you to switch over, especially with this vehicle’s optional off-road pedigree from its Hi4 four-wheel drive system?
