Is the Ford Territory Platinum launching in PH this coming August 7?

It looks like Ford Philippines is set to expand its electrified lineup further very soon. As we reported a few months ago, the American automaker may be introducing a new variant for its very popular Territory Hybrid.

Posted a few days ago on the official Ford Philippines social media pages is a short teaser video describing the arrival of “a precious metal” this coming August 7, 2026 (Friday). This also matches a save-the-date invite we received from the company a few weeks ago.

A precious metal” could be pertaining to Platinum which is also a higher tier of variants of Ford’s various products, such as the Everest midsize SUV in other markets. This means the brand’s hybrid compact crossover could be getting a Platinum trim very soon, also matching previous government filings we’ve seen.

As seen on available public documents on the Department of Energy (DOE) and Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) websites, the Ford Territory Platinum could retain its turbocharged hybrid powertrain, but will get redesigned front and rear bumpers and a new alloy wheel design. You can read about it here.
