Green GSM partners with 75 transport companies for PH expansion

Booking a ride with the Green GSM electric taxi service has started becoming difficult to some, but worry not as the Vietnamese taxi operator is set to further expand its operations in the Philippines as it partners with more local transport companies.

Up to 18,497 VinFast electric vehicles are set to be deployed across the Philippines under the latest partnerships of Green GSM, after the signing of various agreements with a total of 75 transport companies and cooperatives.

Those vehicles, composed of VinFast VF 5 and Herio Green, and Limo Green models, are expected to operate in multiple provinces and cities across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, particularly in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Cavite, Pampanga, Bacolod, Batangas, Baguio, and Ozamiz.

Green GSM’s initial operations in the country involved the deployment of 2,500 vehicles in collaboration with Xentro Group. With the next set of partnerships underway, the company is expected to significantly expand both fleet scale and geographic coverage.

Operations of Green GSM with the 75 new partners are expected to gradually roll-out throughout 2026, with vehicle orders expected to be completed within the same time frame as well.
