Honda previews UC3 and WN7 electric motorbikes for PH market

The recently concluded 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) was more than just the new cars that were either launched or previewed. Honda Philippines, through the booth of Honda Cars Philippines, gave the motoring public a preview of its upcoming electric motorbikes for our market.

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer already has the EM1 e: in our market, launched back in 2024, but it will soon be expanding its local electric lineup with the UC3 and WN7, the latter already previewed at the Makina Moto Show 2026 a few months ago.

The Honda UC3 is designed for everyday city riding, similar to the brand’s popular models such as the BeAT and Click. Its electric motor produces 8.2 horsepower and 22Nm of torque, with a rated top speed of 82kph, and has selectable Econ, Standard, and Sport modes. It also comes with a Reverse Assist function.

The motor is paired to a 3.2kWh lithium-ion battery that allows for up to 102km of range, and charging through a 450W off-board charger takes approximately nine hours from 0 to 100%, while charging from 30 to 80% can be achieved in four hours.

Features include all LED lighting, a five-inch TFT display with Honda Roadsync compatibility, a smart key system, a USB Type C device charging port, 12-inch wheels with a front disk brake and rear drum brake and Honda’s Combined-Braking System (CBS). The sole available paint job is Graphite Black.

As for its size, it measures at 1,932mm of length, 700mm of width, and 1,112mm of height, with a ground clearance of 146mm and 779mm seat height. Curb weight is 128kg.

Moving on to the Honda WN7, this is the Japanese brand’s first-ever electric naked motorcycle. Matching its more aerodynamic design is its more powerful motor that produces 69 horsepower and 100Nm of torque, comparable to large displacement motorcycles. It can go up to a speed of 129kph.

A 9.3kWh lithium-ion battery allows for up to 140km of range, and can be replenished via Type 2 AC charging in two hours and 30 minutes, or CCS2 DC charging in just 30 minutes. Honda also estimates a battery consumption of 8.1kW per kilometer.

Features are similar to the UC3, but this gets larger 17-inch wheels and is also obviously larger. It measures at 2,155mm long, 825mm wide, and 1,085mm tall. Ground clearance is 140mm and seat height is 800mm. It weighs in at 217kg.
