Lexus Philippines teases the upcoming ES, could it be coming sooner than expected?

It seems the momentum for Toyota Motor Philippines and its luxury arm, Lexus Philippines, isn’t slowing down any time soon. We already pretty much know that most, if not all, of the automaker’s announced cars have debuted already over the past few months, with the most recent salvo coming from the recently concluded 10th Philippine International Motor Show.
Lexus Philippines only had two to announce at the start of the year—the facelifted IS compact sports sedan and the all-new eighth-generation ES midsize executive sedan. The former was launched early last month, and now, the latter seems to be coming in close as the luxury arm’s social media pages are starting to tease the model:
A short teaser reel was posted on its Facebook page with the caption: “In the Quiet, There’s Power. Soon—for those who know where to look.“

Obviously, this could mean anything, but from available public information, we can see that the Lexus ES could be arriving in the country solely in the ES 350e BEV variant. It has an output of 224 horsepower (167kW) and a generous range of up to 685km on a single charge, coming from a 74.68kWh battery.

The ES in other markets is also available in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) form, which we got to see at the recent Auto China 2026 in Beijing in its base ES 300h guise. Whether or not this will be offered down the line (as a more affordable variant) is all up in the air, so all we can do now is wait for the official launch.
