PIMS 2026 | Toyota Motor PH previews the big guns: all-new Hilux, Land Cruiser 300 HEV, Land Cruiser FJ

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is really showing that its multi-pathway approach is in full swing with a showcase of a trio of new models at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS)
Previewed and set to make their debut in the coming months, the Japanese automaker showed off the all-new ninth-generation Toyota Hilux, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid, and the much-awaited all-new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, all of which were already confirmed to arrive in our market.
Each of these models represents a market segment under the multi-pathway approach–from traditional ICE vehicles, to hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), and of course, battery electric vehicles (BEV). The best part? TMP is now accepting reservations for all three new products.

Toyota Hilux
More of an evolution of the previous generation, the all-new ninth-generation Toyota Hilux will soon be arriving in the Philippines. TMP will even be offering it in both turbodiesel and BEV flavors, with multiple variants starting at Php 1,772,000.
The all-new Toyota Hilux mixes new design touches with some from the outgoing version. While its greenhouse and doors remain very similar, the front and rear sections are completely new with C-shaped lighting signatures for the slim headlights and vertical taillights, and a taller hood. The interior is also a huge departure from before, getting a much more modern and upmarket appearance, and taking some cues from the Land Cruiser 300 and Hiace.

The turbodiesel-powered variants will all be getting the tried-and-tested 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine known as the 1GD-FTV. As before, it produces 204 horsepower and up to 500Nm of torque, mated to options of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions.

Meanwhile, the Hilux BEV is powered by dual (front and rear) electric motors that produce a combined 196 horsepower. Paired to a 59.2kWh lithium-ion battery, it can drive for up to a modest 315km on a single charge, and is supported by Type 2 AC charging and CCS2 DC charging.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid

TMP is bringing electrification to its flagship SUV offering with the introduction of a hybrid variant. Previously available only with large oil-burning turbodiesel powertrains, this marks a huge change for the iconic long-running nameplate.

Instead of a 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel V6, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid gets a 3.5-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 engine (V35A-FTS), paired to an electric motor and 1.87kWh battery. Combined, the system produces a healthy 415 horsepower and 650Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Compared to the non-hybrid Land Cruiser 300, the hybrid variant gets a sleeker front bumper, slightly lower ground clearance at 234mm, and electric power-assist steering instead of hydraulic, among other small changes. Its price? Php 6,930,000.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ

Last but not the least, finally making its first local appearance is the much-awaited Toyota Land Cruiser FJ. More of a spiritual successor to the popular FJ Cruiser, it’s built on the IMV platform, shared with the likes of the Toyota Hilux, Fortuner, Innova, and Tamaraw.

We already know that it wears retro-modern design cues inspired by older generations of the Land Cruiser nameplate, and is designed to be easily customizable, especially for off-roading. Also, unlike the previous FJ Cruiser, this comes with five-doors, including a side-opening tailgate which also holds the spare tire, another nod to the past.
Two variants are available for our market–the TX which is priced at Php 2,235,000, and the VX which is priced at Php 2,575,000–both powered by a 2.7-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 166 horsepower and 245Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Again, these three new models are now open for reservation in the Philippines, and will be launched in the coming months. Final pricing and full specifications will also be announced at a later date.
For now, if you already want to see these upcoming new vehicles in the metal, you can check them out at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show, happening until June 7, 2026 (Sunday) at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.
