PIMS 2026 | Kia PH confirms arrival of EV3 and PV5

While Kia Philippines may not have any new cars on display at its booth at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), it dropped a handful of important news items for the Philippine market.
The automaker will be bringing in the EV3, which is a subcompact electric crossover that has won the prestigious 2025 World Car of the Year award.

The EV3 is set to be Kia Philippines’ most affordable electric offering yet (unless they bring in the EV2), but it’s a value-filled proposition as it has a lot of EV9 DNA inside of it with the Opposites United design language scaled down.
It comes with an equally futuristic and minimal interior that features dual 12.3-inch screens, the option for a Harman Kardon audio system, and Kia’s first AI Assistant, but we’re not sure if those will remain as Korea-only features.

Apart from this, it’s powered by a single electric motor paired to either a 58.3 kWh battery (Short Range) or 81.4 kWh battery (Long Range). Power output is 204 horsepower and 283 Nm of torque, with a range of up to 604km for the Long Range or 436km for the Standard Range.

The second vehicle Kia Philippines is bringing in is the PV5 electric van, which is Kia’s first Platform Beyond Vehicle that has a very distinct Tron-esque look with a massive greenhouse thanks to all the glass around the car, and it can come in multiple configurations, which we took a look at in last year’s Japan Mobility Show below:
We’re unsure if the PV5 will be introduced as a cargo or passenger van, but the latter comes with seating for up to seven people, and it’s powered by a single electric motor with a power output of 163 horsepower and 250Nm of torque, an it has either a 51.5kWh or 71.2kWh battery wiith a maximum range of up to 412km on a single charge, and it can be charged from 10 to 80% in 30 minutes via 150kW DC charging, or 11kW AC charging.
Are you excited about the offensive that Kia Philippines will be playing this year on both the hybrid and battery electric fronts?
