Refreshed BMW 520i Luxury lands in PH, priced at Php 4.290M

BMW Philippines, under the distributorship of SMC Asia Cars Distributors Corporation is starting its year with the introduction of the refreshed and upgraded BMW 5-Series, specifically the 520i Luxury, in the country for the 2022 model year.

Changes to the exterior of the 5-Series includes the brand’s signature twin-kidney grille which has been redesigned with extra width and height. The headlights also have a slimmer contouring and are new Adaptive LED headlights which feature a High-beam Assistant and an adaptive cornering function for added safety at night. Black edging and a new L-shaped graphic give the rear lights additional visual impact that emphasizes the sedan’s individuality.

Going inside, entering the BMW 520i Luxury is made easier with the availability of the Comfort Access system, which not only offers a convenient way to lock and unlock the vehicle, but also the simplicity of loading and unloading items into the trunk with the Kick Function. Its doors also feature a Soft Close function which pulls the doors quietly.

Inside, the cabin offers a premium and relaxing experience with Dakota Leather seats coupled with the Ambient Lighting Package and 4-Zone Automatic Air Conditioning to suit any mood. Its open-pored fine wood interior trim and pearl chrome finisher also complements the 5’s sporty and elegant characteristics. 

Other features include a new 12.3” Digital Instrument Cluster Display, BMW Live Cockpit Professional in Operating System 7.0 with BMW Gesture Control, 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround system, and standard Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Under the hood of the 2022 BMW 520i Luxury is a single engine option. That is a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo Inline-4 Cylinder petrol engine that produces 184 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. It can bring the vehicle from 0 to 100 kph in 7.9 seconds.

The 2022 BMW 520i Luxury retails at Php 4,290,000 and is now available in all BMW dealerships nationwide.
