Suzuki PH breaks ground for the expansion of its Calamba, Laguna facility

Suzuki Philippines, Inc. (SPH) continues to invest in the country as it announces the groundbreaking of an expansion to its main facility in Calamba, Laguna which it has been operating since it moved there in 2012.
Located at the Carmelray Industrial Park 1, the project will cost approximately Php 900-million and will commence construction this coming May 2026, with operations expected to begin by August 2027. It also comes not long after the company announced that it has expanded its Pre-Delivery Inspection Facility located within the same property, showing our market’s importance to them.

The expansion adds an Integrated Parts Warehouse, Service Training Center, and new office facilities to the existing SPH facility. Combined, these will serve as a centralized hub that integrates parts warehousing and distribution, technical training, and corporate office operations, designed to improve inventory management and parts availability, accelerate service support for dealers nationwide, and provide a more streamlined working environment for sales, logistics, and administrative functions.
It should help further strengthen the company’s aftersales ecosystem by improving parts availability, enhancing dealer training capability, and supporting more efficient corporate and operational coordination, which should ultimately contribute to a more seamless ownership experience for their customers.
“This groundbreaking ceremony symbolizes more than just a construction project but laying the foundation for the bright future of Suzuki in the Philippines,” said SPH President Koichiro Hirao. “This project stands as a powerful reflection of our vision – our commitment to progress, innovation, and long-term growth, of strengthening our capabilities, expanding our reach, and creating greater value.”
