The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 gets a new nose job, could it be coming to PH soon?

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is just one of those nameplates that refuse to die, having been launched in 2013 and undergone multiple facelifts, introducing new elements to the sedan such as the Dynamic Shield grille, new tech, and, most recently, new LED headlights and taillights, and revamped wheel designs.

It seems like the nameplate is getting yet another facelift, as the Attrage in Thailand gets a brand-new front bumper that features a very aggressive interpretation of the Dynamic Shield grille, now leaning towards the sporty side with a larger front intake and swaths of gloss black elements on the “shield”.

Otherwise, the rest of the car carries over the same elements first introduced in the 2025 refresh, with the same LED headlights and taillights, 15-inch alloy wheels, the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment, and the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder 3A92 MIVEC engine that produces 73 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque, mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or an Invecs-III CVT.

What could be new, though, as we can see in the higher-end Smart trim in Thailand, are synthetic leather seats, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, the addition of cruise control, a central locking system, and an ADAS camera that adds forward collision mitigation

Thanks to available public information, we already know that Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has filed homologation documents for the 2027 model year of the GLX MT, the GLX CVT, and the GLS CVT models of the Mirage G4, meaning that we may be seeing these changes much sooner than later.
