The Tesla Model Y in PH has received yet another update

Tesla Philippines really seems to be very busy this year as it made some updates to the Model 3 and its bestselling Model Y earlier this year, and just launched its new six-seater Model Y L just a few weeks ago.

Now, the Model Y is once again receiving a couple of updates, following the previous ones made in January where we saw a new Premium Long-Range RWD variant added to the popular SUV’s local flavors, followed by a slightly larger infotainment screen and a black headliner, just a few weeks after.

And with this third update within the first quarter of 2026 alone, what’s changed this time?

The optional Helix 2.0 wheels are now finished in gray.

First is a little change in the optional 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels which are now finished in gray instead of silver. Pricing for this option remains unchanged at Php 133,000 if you choose it over the standard 19-inch Crossflow wheels.

Second is a new interior color scheme. Replacing the Black and White option is the new Zen Grey color from the recently launched Model Y L. Moreover, the new color scheme also applies to the door armrests, center armrest, and center console.

Both these updates mirror what’s new over in China where local units are sourced from, and despite them, pricing has remained unchanged for the Tesla Model Y, with the lineup still starting at the following prices:

  • Model Y Premium RWD: Php 2,369,000
  • Model Y Premium Long Range RWD: Php 2,594,000
  • Model Y Premium Long Range AWD: Php 2,749,000
  • Model Y L Premium AWD: Php 2,849,000

Do you think these updates make the Tesla Model Y a more compelling option, or do you think Tesla should slow down and introduce updates in one go rather than in a staggered manner?
