MIAS 2026: Toyota-backed T-OPT auto parts brand launches

Even if its latest vehicles aren’t formally present at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) still had some sort of presence, launching a new aftermarket vehicle parts brand, T-OPT.

Already established in Thailand and Indonesia, T-OPT is described as a “premium regional aftermarkets parts brand with reliable quality” by Toyota, and aims to serve the large market of owners and users of aging and out-of-warranty Toyota vehicles.

At T-OPT, we believe in providing alternative car parts that are accessible to all,” shared TMP First Vice President for Customer First and Value Chain Operations Mike Masamayor. “Our commitment to providing hassle-free car ownership extends to our customers who own older Toyota vehicles and refuse to compromise on quality,” he added.

The initial lineup of vehicle parts from T-OPT will include fast moving maintenance parts such as oil and air filters, as well as common wear-and-tear parts such as wiper blades, brake pads, brake shoes, and clutch covers and discs. These parts are currently compatible with select Toyota models: Vios, Wigo, Innova, Avanza, and Hiace.

Retail sales of T-OPT parts will begin this coming April 13, 2026 through select distributors and service providers. These are Aerodynamics Commercial Corporation, HD Trucks, Guthrie Marketing, LGC Group of Companies, Motech, and Autoquix.
