These are the specifications of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV

Considering Toyota Motor Philippines’ approach to carbon neutrality and more involves a multi-pathway approach that means giving consumers a choice, it’s no surprise that the top-of-the-line Land Cruiser 300 was given a hybrid version, allowing for consumers on the higher end to get the benefits delivered by electrification.

The Land Cruiser 300 HEV slots in above the ZX model grade, and it’s priced at Php 6,930,000, with an additional Php 15,000 premium for Precious White Pearl. This brings a whole slew of changes to the SUV, starting with its powertrain, which was previously available only with large oil-burning turbodiesel powertrains.

Instead of a 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel V6, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid gets a 3.5-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 engine (V35A-FTS), paired to an electric motor and 1.87kWh battery.

Combined, the system produces a healthy 415 horsepower and 650Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is also shared with the Lexus LX700h, which was brought into the market by Lexus Philippines in June 2025.

Consequently, this change also brings a slightly lower ground clearance of 234mm, and the hydraulic steering has now been changed to electric power steering, which should not only improve comfort but also improve drivability.

The exterior changes slightly, now featuring an aero kit that features black accents, and the rear seats now have a 60:40 split and tumble bench, instead of a 40:20:40 split and tumble bench with sliding adjustments, and the power-folding third row has a deck board to protect the rear of the seats when loading with cargo.

Otherwise, everything else remains the same with the diesel-fed ZX, from the very capable four-wheel drive system with limited-slip differentials, the luxurious leather interior, the dual 12.3-inch screens, the infotainment supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker JBL sound system, and the entire suite of the Toyota Safety Sense advanced driver assistance system.

You can reserve the Land Cruiser 300 HEV starting today at your nearest Toyota dealership, and hopefully, we’ll start seeing these more often in everyone’s favorite political convoys instead of the older diesel-fed models.
