BYD Cars PH increases prices by up to Php 100K across the board

A few weeks back, we saw BYD Cars Philippines increase the prices of the Sealion 6 DM-i and the Shark 6 DMO, and it seems that the rest of the automaker’s lineup is following suit.

A quick peek at BYD Cars Philippines’ website and pricelist reveals that a sweeping price increase across the board has been implemented relatively recently, as of this writing. Most of these vehicles have held on to their launch pricing since they were introduced, so it was only a matter of time before we saw all of these go up.
Some models and variants still maintain the same prices, such as the Seal 5 DM-i Premium, while the higher-end, full electric models get increases as high as Php 100,000. Here are which vehicles increased their prices as of May 27, 2026.

Whether due to increased demand for electrified vehicles, global factors (economic climate or conflict), or simply a price increase from BYD’s side, one thing is for sure—their vehicles aren’t getting any cheaper any time soon.
